This past summer the Department of Theatre and Dance’s CADD (Computer Assisted Drafting and Design) lab got a much needed upgrade. It was the first major upgrade to the lab since it began in the spring of 2001. The lab received 9 new computers with 24″ screens. Two new printers were installed along with 9 new Waycom Tablets. At the same time the new lab arrived, Greg Kaye and Dixon Reynolds joined the Faculty in the Theatrical Production and Design Program. Each brings a new and fresh set of computer skills to the program. This semester Greg has added computer rendering to his Rendering 3 course and is using this technology on our first production for Marat/Sade. Below is a short walk through he created for the production.
